To our readers around the world,

When we brought FLYING GLORY's story online this August, detailing two generations of American female superheroes -- one born out of World War II, the other rising in the new millennium -- we never dreamed that an event would happen that would be considered the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor.

In light of the disasters in New York and Washington D.C., along with the plane crash in Pennsylvania, we are taking a break from our origin storyline.  We wish to pause and reflect, and to ask prayers and support not only for the victims, but for the real heroes involved in disaster relief efforts -- including the police, firefighters, and medics.
