THE MANAGER

Dressed in his dashing business suit, The Manager's ready to spring into action.  Ready to book any arena, prepared to set any stage, The Manager's on call to save the day! (Hey, every superhero has a catchy phrase.  Don't knock it.)

But all this is a lie... (wait, no one could make this up)

CYRUS MULRONEY

Cyrus is the youngest male of eight children in an Irish Catholic family, and is the only one who is unmarried. Cyrus' only sister and youngest sibling, Erin, has a grown son named Charles that constantly seems to get in trouble and likes turning to uncle Cyrus to bail him out. Charlie can't hold down a job and has far too many loan sharks on his back.  Cyrus can't stand the kid but feels obligated to help Charlie because he's family.  Cyrus has three additional nephews and five nieces who take far better care of themselves.
He got into the area of music business management purely by chance.  Originally, Cyrus went to law school and was an average student, planning to follow in his father's footsteps and focus on property law.  However, his niece Shaugnessy O'Hara got a record contract offer and turned to uncle Cyrus to help her understand it since she had no agent and couldn't afford a lawyer. While not well versed in entertainment law, Cyrus knew enough to help her understand the terms and broker her own deal.  What Cyrus learned from Shaugnessy's experience intrigued him, and he left law school to become her business manager.  Once she became a phenomenon in the adult contemporary market, and also wanted to branch her career out to acting, Shaughnessy left Cyrus to sign with a large agency.

Needing to find a new act to manage to stay in business, Cyrus discovers Flying Glory and the Hounds of Glory after hearing them perform at their high school's fashion show. Where he had been invited to by his friend the school principal Lionel Arthur who was impressed with the band himself.  They're modeling new creations by Krystal Wexler, who gets into the fray after a supervillain crashes the show.  Cyrus is impressed by Krystal's looks, fashion sense, and chutzpah, and says he's willing to promote the band if they add Krystal to their team.  They reluctantly agree and an alliance begins.
