With this week of Holiday time we're taking a short break before begining our third story. But that doesn't mean we're not giving you anything for the holiday. As you will have seen, our front page has a special holiday artwork. We didn't have time to make up something special this time around, so we're letting all you get to see the Christmas Card art which we sent out to all our professional associates last year. Plus a very special treat. "Suite for Strings", a short prose story I wrote about one of our more obscure supporting characters. Hope you enjoy it, and may you all have a blessed holiday season. See you next year as we begin our next story. December 18th, 2002 Color for page 2 is up, and page 3 is up with the color coming tomorrow. December 15th, 2002 When you think you've got plenty of time and you think you have the time to do something special, life steps in and reminds you your not in charge. I apologize for not getting the second page of "Generational Interlude" up on time. I will try to have the color version of the page up in the nex day or two, no later then Wedensday when it will go up along side page 3. The worse case would be if I push page 3 off to the 21st but I doubt that will be necessary. Thank you for your understanding. Kevin December 11th, 2002 A short interlude for the Holidays. December 4th, 2002 Shannon has already given you and idea of what is to come, but at the moment I can sit back and take a breather and think of all the work I've done to produce everything you've read and seen so far. Some of my art isn't great, and some of it is much better then my average and that surprises me. There is so much about Debra Clay and her experiences as Flying Glory, and all the gang around her that I want to show and I hope you're willing to stick around to see it. Shannon has mentioned the interlude story coming up this month, but I wanted to drop a quick hint about a text story that I'll be including during the holidays. It's about one of our background characters. That's enough for now, I think my bed is calling and I'm going to need all my sleep before I get back to work. Best,

OK, we've worked the glitches out and you've had time to read the story. So did you catch all the Glamm '80s references? "Pump Up The Volume" (song title) - Page 29
Hope you had as much fun finding them as I did working them in! Best,
December 8th, 2002 Thanks to feedback from an eager fan, we caught a couple of links errors for which we greatly apologize. They are now repaired and you should be able to read all of "First Movement" error-free. Thank you for your continued support! December 4th, 2002 Wow! Thank you for making it with us to the end of another exciting storyline. Our next phase of the story (and the last part of this first arc), "Rhythm and Rhyme," will come to you starting in January, but don't think we're going on an early vacation! Like "Prelude to Glory" which came before, we've got another short treat in store for you that will give insight on our three generations of women -- Elsie, Annie, and Deb. This 3-page "Generational Interlude" will have a SPECIAL release schedule. with full color page releases on the following dates: Wednesday, December 11th
or as close to that as we can come, barring technical difficulties and such. In January, we will shift to each page of Issue 3 being presented in black and white only, one page every TUESDAY (we had to change the date because I'm going back for my Masters degree and we needed the writing and editing to fit in with my schedule). After that, we'll be re-releasing pages in color after that on a frequency and schedule yet to be determined. Looking forward to continuing with you in 2003! Shan |
