CREATORS’ FAVORITE LINKS
KEVIN
PAUL SHAW BRODEN
Writer/Illustrator/Creator
of FLYING GLORY
• My
online resume is down, and maybe down for a while as I have left AOL.
•
Being
new at on-line comics I would like to recommend a few that I enjoy
regulary:
Sabrina-Online.com is one
of the best "furry" style comics on the internet, and that isn't just
my
opinion, both in art and story.
There seems to be an entire sub-universe of online comicbooks created
by
and about video gamers, MEGATOKYO
is one of the best.

• As
to comics in general there are many I could suggest you look at, but as
for links take a look at STRANGERS
IN PARADISE
I
am certain to update and include my links as time goes by, but I don't
want to clutter it up now. Take a look at these and let their
author's
know where you heard about them. Thanks

The
first thing that really got me interested in animation (and later
comics
as an outgrowth of that), was VOLTRON. Visit
my own tribute site,
which
people tell me they regard one of the most definitive on the ‘Net. I
also teamed up with World Events Productions, the company behind
VOLTRON,
to create the official starmap ? see a visual rendition on the official
site.

I’ve
been a fan of the 80s series JEM and that’s undeniably had some
influence
on this project. My sister,
Lesley (Muir) Aeschliman, runs the longest-running mailing list on the ‘Net
(founded in 1996) ? TRULY
OUTRAGEOUS!

The
official site of singer
Deborah
Gibson fills you in on the latest highlights of her career. Kevin
and I are both fans of hers and our Debra is named after her in
tribute.
Deborah Gibson’s done everything from Broadway to TV to film. And,
oh yes, she has recorded albums. Her
seventh and latest one, M.Y.O.B., came out in 2001 and I can’t
recommend
it highly enough.

Lastly,
another animated series that strikes me as an example of fantastic,
well-thought
out storytelling is GARGOYLES. The
best starting points for new fans are the sites Station
8 and gargoyles-fans.org;
from there you’ll find tons of links to other sites. Station
8 also features a moderated Q&A section with GARGOYLES series
creator
Greg Weisman.
