[Shannon
says: The original name of the Hounds of Glory's CD that they burned to
sell at concerts, to which a few tracks were later added and it was re-released
as the first Flying Glory and the Hounds of Glory CD. This
song, out of my personal songbook, inspired the CD title but I never had
plans to actually use it in the stories except maybe in a flashback sequence.

Something's coming
quickly
Hear the battle cry
Distant sound of thunder
Booming in the sky
CHORUS:
Leaders of a revolution
A new era's coming
'round
We're marching into
town
And turning it, turning
it
Turning it upside
down
Fighting rages everywhere
They say we can't
win
But if we keep our
faith
Chances won't wear
thin
CHORUS
Leaders of a revolution,
baby!

[Shannon
says: I had originally written this years earlier but tinkered it some
to fit the Flying Glory universe, Originally planned because we were contemplating
a storyline based around a charity concert for the homeless, which was
where our heroes were originally going to meet Dyllian Nash (who now appears
at the Glamm concert at the end of "First Movement"). If
you look into Lucy's backstory, she and her father lived out of their car
for a period when she was young. Due
to some larger arc rearrangement, the charity concert was dropped... for
now. This is one song that may crop up much later down the line, possibly
in another revised form.]
An old cardboard box
Keeps rain off her
head
A few cans scrounged
up
Barely buy her a meal
She's only fourteen
What a life she's
seen
CHORUS:
Hey Ashley
Where you going
tonight?
It's cold on the
streets
With little to
eat
I want to find
you a home
Her family's address
is "By the
river"
Or "Under
the bridge"
Whichever's not taken
No school, no friends,
nothing
As hope slowly dies
CHORUS
What's the future
hold?
Ashley doesn't know
The street knows dead
dreams
How much time before
Her young soul's sold
to things
Too adult for her?
Hey Ashley
Hope's around the
corner
Don't give up...

says: A very early draft of
a song that was abandoned due to the fact we decided to pursue this particular
plot later on. While techinally
finished, I suspect this one will show up later in a revised form.]
Sometimes things just
get too much
For me to handle on
my own
I know you will arrive
with aid
To try and get me
safely home
CHORUS:
You put it on
the line for me
A knight in armor
shining
Bright against
the dark city
CHORUS
You are my hero
