RUMBLE

Evildoers quake at the sound of his drums and the beat of his fists!    He is the pounding force that alerts you of the approaching army, his drum lead the colonists in battle against the Red Coats.    His fists drum at an unending beat.
Flying Glory approached Rumble for her new team of super heroes, needing powerful muscle to fight against the new enemies of America.

But all this is a lie...

THE "REAL" SKINNY: VINCE GIANTASSIO

Vince Giantassio and his fraternal twin sister Victoria (whom he lovingly refers to as "Vic") grew up in a relatively affluent family in the Hollywood Hills. At a very young age, Vince picked up on classical piano and wrote his first composition at age six, and took piano lessons from his gifted mother.  With his talent, Vince was on a fast track to Julliard.

Then tragedy struck.

Not long after the twins' fourteenth birthday, both their parents (MARIO and COLETTA, who owned a successful restaurant franchise inspired by but not tied to a restaurant owned by the family for generations) in a car accident while on an anniverary getaway. With their parents' assets now in trust until they reach adulthood, the twins lived with their grandparents -- Loretta and Roberto Gianassio -- in Hollywood proper. Their grandparents managed (and continue to oversee) the restaurant VITO'S FINE CUISINE, a fine dining establishment founded by Roberto's father and mother in the early 20th century with stars' photos going back to the heyday of Hollywood adorning its wall... including one of the World War II Flying Glory herself.

Both Vince and Victoria, while they love their grandparents, did not adjust well.  Vince in particular became extremely angry and started acting out.  When he began to see that his way of dealing wasn't productive, he found a way to marry his gift for music with the need to release his anger -- Vince took up playing the drums.  Victoria, meanwhile, became an "Ice Princess," distant from everyone and everything and just focused on photography (an interest in which she discovered in her switch to public schools in junior high) as her job and life.   She ran away from home not long after her fifteenth birthday and despite a desperate search, Vic could not be found.  Now the Giantassio family never speaks of her, acts like she never existed; it was the only way they could cope.  And Vince became angrier and angrier at the world.

It was during Vince's angry phase that he met up with Lucy Alvarez in the Music Composition Program at high school.  Her own life problems made her very bitter and distant, in many ways very much like Victoria.  This, combined with her musical ability on guitar, attracted him. They came together as two hurting people in need of comfort and friendship.  Vince learned that Lucy tried to write songs to express her emotions, and while she had a way with words, didn't know how to get the fullest potential out of music to lift them higher.  One day she dared him to see if he could do better and he tried writing music to some of her lyrics; Lucy was shocked and stunned at how much power his music put behind her words.  She asked Vince to write new music for some of her other songs.  Together, they built a powerful song library.

Vince and Lucy knew their material was good, but it needed to get in the hands of people who could give it exposure.  One day they saw the Hounds of Glory perform at a school event and decided to approach them with a proposal to craft original songs in exchange for being in the band.  After auditioning for Debra, John, and Nate -- who liked what they heard -- Vince and Lucy became part of the band.  After that, the Hounds of Glory's popularity skyrocketed.

However, as Vince began to express himself more through music, it began to loosen up his attitude and make the bitterness melt away.  This personality change did not work well for rigid Lucy, and she cut things off with him romantically, though they could not deny the power of their musical combination.  Meanwhile, Vince flits from woman to woman, trying to find someone to fill the void in his heart.  Some might say Vince is a playboy that may never be satisfied.  Others might comment that Lucy is Vince's soulmate and she just has to grow past her fears and realize it.  The truth remains to be seen, especially now that Vince's sights have set on the alluring Dyllian Nash King, who now also serves as a videographer of sorts for the band.
